The costs below are paid directly to Lancaster Bible College and are eligible for financial aid assistance.

In addition to the costs listed above charged by LBC, there are also indirect expenses associated with pursuing an education that are not charged by the college. These include textbooks and supplies, transportation, personal or food and housing if living off-campus. These are not expenses owed to the college but are indirect costs you may have and for which you are eligible to receive financial assistance. Each student will find that they spend different amounts in these categories.
The cost of attendance is an estimate of the expenses you may incur during the academic year. It combines the direct expenses like tuition/fees and the indirect costs mentioned above to best estimate what it will cost you to attend LBC | Capital for the 2024-2025 academic year (typically includes fall and spring terms). This COA chart provides an average of estimated expenses a fulltime student (carrying between 12-18 credits) could incur during an academic year. Tenia Brown (’22). “The Financial Aid Department at LBC was so helpful in making my educational dreams a reality since I was raised by a single mom who passed away when I was in high school. The idea of college and how to pay for it
was scary to me. Even though my mother set aside money to ensure my sister and I could go to college, committing to a private out-of-state college was a huge leap of faith. Beth and Angela worked with me to create a plan that worked best for me financially.
“I could contact them directly with any questions, and they take the time to explain the scholarship opportunities available to me. By keeping up my GPA and working hard in each class, I can continue my education in hopes of becoming an elementary school teacher! The financial aid department has made college a lot more affordable than I originally thought. If anyone had a question about their financial aid, I would encourage them to reach out to their Financial Aid Advisor at LBC because they are always willing to help.”
