Multiple Summer Open Houses Invite Students to LBC’s Various Locations

Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary & Graduate School is planning several opportunities for prospective students to learn more about the college this summer, at all levels of education and in all locations, including online.


Online | June 7, July 17 & August 7

Three times this summer, LBC | Capital will host virtual open houses for those interested in earning their degree 100% online—from associate and bachelor’s to graduate to seminary.

  • 6 p.m. Friday, June 7
  • 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 17
  • 6 p.m. Wednesday, August 7

Participants will be sent a Zoom link upon registration, available soon at lbc.edu/meet-us.

“We know that many busy, working adults of all ages and stages of life have aspirations to get a college degree,” said LBC | Capital’s Director of Global Recruiting & Admissions Edward Owens. “And many can thrive on a path to earning their degree completely online. From flexible online undergraduate adult education degrees to online masters and doctoral degrees where students learn and grow in their faith alongside their peers and professors, our online programs are biblically integrated and aligned with the Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary & Graduate School mission to ‘educate Christian students to think and live a biblical worldview and to proclaim Christ by serving Him in the Church and society.’”

Washington, D.C. | June 13 & July 18

LBC | Capital – Washington, D.C., will host two summer in-person open houses so potential students can learn more about the associates, bachelors and masters degrees available at the college’s location at 7852 Walker Drive in Greenbelt, Md.

  • 6 p.m. Thursday, July 18

LBC Washington DC campus.Participants can register at lbc.edu/meet-us to find out which program is right for them, learn about Washington, D.C.’s hybrid modality, have their application and financial aid questions answered, interact with professors and staff, and meet potential future classmates.

“As educators, we recognize the value of transformational instruction sourced in the gospel of Jesus Christ, and ideally, we expect that our teaching will have a multi-generational impact,” said LBC | Capital’s Washington, D.C., Global Site Director David Gaines. “Although we have the privilege of directly communicating to our students, we believe that the life-changing instruction we share will continue beyond the classroom into the immediate culture in which they live. Essentially, we are educating all our students so that they think and live out the principles of a Christ-centered, biblical worldview as they serve Him in the Church and society.”

LBC | Capital – Washington, D.C., offers adult education programs that are designed for busy people who are working, raising a family and serving. Additionally, seminary and graduate programs enable students to earn their master’s degree in Bible, counseling, ministry and more without leaving their career. The Washington, D.C., site also offers a doctoral degree in Biblical Studies—a pinnacle to mark a lifetime of learning.


Lancaster | July 19 for High School Students & Families

Lancaster Bible College’s regular on-campus open houses for high school students and families are great ways to see the heartbeat of Charger Nation.

The 2024 summer open house from 8:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, July 19, will include tours of the Lancaster campus at 901 Eden Road, interactions with faculty and current students, lunch in Olewine Dining Commons, time to learn and worship in Good Shepherd Chapel, visits to classrooms and athletics facilities, and more.

Students and families can also ask questions about topics such as LBC’s commitment to biblical integration in every program, the college’s calling and career development, short-term and semester study abroad programs and Division III Chargers sports teams, as well as student access to the Counseling & Care Center, academic mentoring, writing support and accessibility services.

Philadelphia | August 13

At 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 13, LBC | Capital – Philadelphia will host an in-person open house at its 2001 W. Lehigh Avenue location for those interested in earning their associate or bachelor’s degree in a hybrid setting. LBC Philadelphia campus.Attendees can learn about the market-relevant programs offered at this site, plus how the class structure works and what students experience once they enroll. Application and financial aid questions will also be answered during the virtual event, and participants can interact with professors and meet potential future classmates.
