by LBC Marketing

Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary and Graduate school is pleased to announce the appointment of Rev. Dr. A. Michael Black to the position of dean and site director of the college’s site in Greenbelt, Maryland. “I am excited to work at LBC | Capital,” said Black, “Because it provides a God-given opportunity to prepare students to impact the church and world with a solid biblical worldview.”

Licensed to preach in 1983 and ordained in 1984, Black has been in pastoral ministry for almost 35 years, serving most recently as the executive pastor at Heritage Fellowship Church in Reston, Virginia. Black earned his Bachelor Arts degree from Washington Bible College, his Master of Theological Studies degree from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary and and Honorary Doctorate from Saint Thomas Christian College.

In Black’s new position with college, he will oversee the academics and day-to-day operations of the college’s Greenbelt site. In 2013, LBC | Capital established a location in Greenbelt, Maryland through the acquisition of the academic programming of Washington Bible College and Capital Bible Seminary. Since that time, LBC | Capital has been education students in it’s state-of-the-art facilities located at 7852 Walker Drive, Greenbelt, Maryland. The students there are part of nearly 2,000 students studying at LBC | Capital through its five sites.
