The Wall Street Journal released its 2020 College Rankings, and once again, students at Lancaster Bible College seem to be very satisfied with their college experience. The rankings, which take into account a number of complex factors, examine more than 800 colleges and universities in the United States.

The survey results, which are on a scale of zero to 10, with 10 representing the strongest agreement, showcase that LBC students feel very confident that the college is the right fit for them. When evaluating the ‘right choice’ category, students were asked, “If you could start over, would you still choose this college?” LBC earned an overall score of 9 out of 10.

For the category labeled, ‘inspiring’, students were posed the question, “Does your college provide an environment where you feel you are surrounded by exceptional students who inspire and motivate you?” The college earned a 8.3 out of 10. Lastly, when considering whether or not their college education was worth the cost, students were asked, “Do you think your college will be worth what you and your family are paying?” LBC earned a score of 8.7 out of 10.

In last year’s report, Lancaster Bible College tied for first place in the Right Choice category with Stanford University. While the college still had a high score in 2020, The Wall Street Journal did not provide score comparison in that category this year. Similarly, LBC also landed at 3rd place in the career preparation category in the 2018 rankings, a category not surveyed or included in this year’s report, or the 2019 report.
