Bolt
This winter, Lancaster Bible College welcomed a new member to the Charger family—Bolt!
Bolt, the lean and mean Charger mascot, is a gray stallion with an imposing persona and unparalleled passion for LBC sports teams and student-athletes. Unveiled on Jan. 30—the 90th academic day in the college’s 90th anniversary year—Bolt made his first appearance at the men’s and women’s basketball games against St. Mary’s of Maryland, which both ended in victories for the Chargers.
WHERE I WORK & WHAT I DO: Lancaster Bible College, where I cheer on the Chargers, pump up fans and make appearances at student events, Homecoming, graduation and more.
THE BEST PART ABOUT MY ROLE AT LBC IS: My hugs and high-hooves seem to make people’s day.
FAVORITE FOOD: Corn on the cob
FAVORITE PASTIME: Grazing behind the baseball field and scaring disc golfers
