Course and schedule information

How does the course schedule work?

LBC has a rolling admissions policy. The college delivers all the online & hybrid undergraduate courses in eight (8) weeks subterms. Students may apply anytime and begin at the start of the next subterm.

What courses will I take?

Each student’s path to completing their degree is unique, depending upon the college courses you are transferring into the program. After reviewing your transcripts, your admissions counselor with work with you to determined how many credits you need and what your course plan will look like.

How much time should I plan to spend on my course each week?

Each course, whether online or hybrid, is eight (8) weeks in length. The general rule:  Students should plan to spend 16 hours per week per course in study, preparation for class and completing assignments.

Will my professional work, ministry and other life experience count for anything?

Students can earn up to 30 life experience credits, through the Credits for Life Experience evaluation process, which will often reduce the degree completion time. A one-time portfolio fee is assessed for this evaluation, which determines the number of credits you have earned. There is also a per credit transcription fee. This is done after a student begins the program.
