Professor David Swan

is a Vietnam veteran and has worked in the areas of human resources, information systems, regulatory affairs, marketing, and finance. He has a B.S. degree in mathematics, an M.A. in biblical studies and another M.A. in Christian counseling and discipleship. Professor Swan is currently pursuing advanced studies in counseling to become certified as a Licensed Professional Counselor. In Maryland, Professor Swan serves as the Program Director for a Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center, is Minister of Counseling at Shiloh Baptist Church, and is on the Board of Directors for The Community Ministries of Prince George’s County. He is a counselor at Safe Harbor Christian Counseling, is married to Lorraine, and they have two adult children.
