Each year, LBC Journey Teams travel to the furthest corners of the world to live out the gospel message by bringing hope to the hopeless. Whether working at an orphanage in Haiti, helping to build a church in Jamaica, teaching English in Germany, doing sports camps in the Philippines or involved n street evangelism in Thailand, the service of these teams leave a lasting impact on the places they visit and the people they meet—not to mention on the lives of the individual team members. Trips are planned throughout the year and are open to all LBC student to participate.
The Journey Teams need two things to be successful – those who GO and those who GIVE.
Prayerfully and carefully consider if God is asking you to consider joining a Journey Team this year. We’re asking God to put together the teams that HE wants to serve Him around the world. Explore the list of trips below to discover if there is a trip that is of interest to you.

Leaders: Melissa Boas and Beth Manyara

Students will partner with The Kenya Project in Nakuru, Kenya. This ministry located in the Rift Valley, has a school and orphanage on site. We will be staying right on the compound in a guest house. The school currently has a population of 550 students, K-12. The orphanage has approximately 90 students. LBC students will work alongside teachers, assisting in the classroom. This is a large ministry, and mostly self-contained on the compound, so there are many options for other work if LBC students have interests outside of teaching such as a technical school, sports and grounds. If you have a passion for it, we will find a way to engage that vision! For more information visit The Kenya Project. There will be a safari planned, as the ministry sits very close to several amazing national parks. We would love to introduce you to this beautiful part of the world!
Trip is full.

Even if you do not physically go on a trip, you can still be part of a trip by giving to support a team member. Each individual on a team needs to raise the designated amount for their trip. For some students, that can be difficult. By coming alongside them with your gift, you are partnering with their team.
